Welcome to our Farm

Our family has called this land home for generations, and today we are honored to share it with guests, friends, and events of all kinds. Southern hospitality runs deep here—it’s in the way we welcome you onto the porch, the way the farm animals wander close to say hello, and the way the quiet of the fields invites you to slow down and breathe a little easier.

Indigo House & Farm blends old and new, pairing the charm of our 1810 historic farmhouse with the comfort of a cozy 1920s cottage where guests can settle in and make the place their own. The barns, the pasture, the towering pines, and the winding trails all hold pieces of our family’s story, and sharing them is a joy.

This farm has been many things over the years—from the 1700s Indigo Farm to currently a working cattle operation and in the past a tobacco farm. It has always been a gathering place, a sanctuary for creativity, and a retreat for travelers seeking peace, connection, and authentic Southern warmth. Whether you’re here for a quiet stay, a celebration, a workshop, or a moment to reconnect with nature, we want you to feel at home.

We care deeply for this land and the life on it—our cows, donkeys, chickens, ducks, goats, and the wildlife that moves through the woods. Offering this space to others is our way of keeping its spirit alive. Every guest becomes part of the ongoing story of the farm.

Welcome to Indigo House & Farm. We’re so glad you’re here.
